Those who take up this prestige most often become Lieutenants and Generals to the unholy ranks of the conjurer or attempt to create their own sinful path. Weather subtle or blunt those along this path become powerful unholy beings of the abyss. Masterminds, Tacticians and the like are most commonly found amongst this stock. Many however that choose this dark path do not realize that they have opened themselves up to becoming pawns themselves to even more powerful beings as there is always a ranking structure to be observed and more often than not they end up paying the painful price of not respecting such. Many believe a Disciple of this unholy path begins its path of transformation through a mixing of dark arts and rituals with that of some natural sorcery they are capable of in whatever form it might be. Others believe that it is Nergull himself who touches upon the lives & souls of these powerfully gifted men and women and twisting them into a true masterpiece of wickedness of his own choosing.

Name of a Demon: Starting at 1st level, the Demonic Disciple gains a True name for him or herself. This name carries with it dark power. (Any rituals or magic used wherein the disciple’s true demon name is used gain bonuses or modifiers ultimately up to the DM to work out). This true name if found in the wrong hands can be very dangerous to the Disciple. The Demonic Disciple must continue taking levels in the prestige until it is finished before levelling into any other class. Due to their unholy nature the disciple also suffers the penalty of -1 to all appropriate social skills per level when interacting with those who would be unwelcoming or even frightened of a demon but this also gives the bonus towards intimidate checks when appropriate
Eyes of a Demon: The first noticeable change comes to the Disciples eyes where the colour may change to any type of unnatural tone of fiery bright colours and pigments. The Disciple begins to immediately notice they can see upon the world so much more clearly. The Disciple gains Darkvision 60 feet, allowing perception even in magical Darkness, If the Disciple already has Darkvision then they receive an extra 30 feet to a total of 90 feet of Darkvision.
Aura of Evil: The power of a Demon Disciple's aura of evil (see the detect evil spell) is equal to his class level plus his cleric level, if any.
Flesh of a Demon: This is the step that some of the most obvious changes take root in the Disciple as more and more they grow out of their former selves and into the new superior one of a Demon. The Disciples flesh or skin begins to take change and it grows into hard scales or tough leathery skin or hide. Perhaps even a charcoaled and black inhuman flesh up to the player to decide. Although appearance wise this will create many problems for the Disciple if they are not able to hide that which they are becoming well enough. The Disciple gains a +1 Natural Armor bonus which increases by one at level 5 and level 8 as the Demons skin grows thicker and tougher.
Shape of a Demon: The disciples form continues to transform as they grow even further into a demon. The Disciple will develop a unique natural attack. This may be a beard of sickening tentacles, claws with the power to cause unhealing wounds, a perfect kiss that drains the strength of one's foe, brutal horns that ruin a foe on a charge, spurting acidic blood, or clawed feet to snatch up one's opponent to the air, and drop them. At level 6 a second natural attack is chosen.
Cultivation of a Demon: Demons are known for many different qualities from there keen intelligence, deadly instinct or perhaps there silver tongued influence but one thing is true is that the mental faculties of a demon can easily be said to be superior then to that of most mortal races. The Disciple may choose to have their Mind, Instinct or Influence cultivated as their body and essence improves itself. This grants the Disciple choice of a +2 bonus towards their Intelligence, Wisdom or Charisma score. This is perhaps one of the very fundamental reasons at which men and women would give up everything for the lust of great power.
Demonic Benefaction: The most dangerous and deadly evils in the world are the ones we cannot see and the Demons that hide in sheep’s clothing know all too well how useful a strategy this can be. As the Disciple has become more consumed by their unholy nature, if they have lived long enough to this point they may hide their inhuman visage. Many Demons choose to continue appearing as they did before they began the dark path which they now stand far upon. The Disciple gains the ability of Change Shape
- Change Shape (Su): A Disciple can assume the form of any Small or Medium humanoid at will and does not return to their original form until the sunrise of the next day or unless willed to otherwise. If the Disciple is knocked unconscious or otherwise incapacitated they return back to their true form and all will become immediately aware of their unholy nature.
Wings of a Demon: As the Disciples transformation continues, as one of the major physical changes to take place is the growth of large unholy wings from out of their shoulder blades. Demonic Disciples have a fly speed of 60 feet with good manoeuvrability. The wings can be anything from Leathery Batwings, Black or grey feathered ones or Scaled Dragon-like wings.
Greater Demonic Benefaction: The Disciple gains the ability to summon a demon with a [75%] chance of success to serve them for up to 1 hour. This percentage increases by 5% for each level to become 90% at level 10. After 1 hour the Disciple may attempt to use magic to keep the demon under their control but doing so is not only dangerous but very difficult as well. This ability may be used 1/week.
Legacy of a Demon: The character gains the ability to communicate telepathically out to 100 ft.
Born from Darkness: The Disciples transformation has come to its full completion and has now fully become an outsider. Character's type becomes Outsider and they no longer continue aging or suffering age penalties, the Disciple gains the standard special qualities of a Demon. The Disciple no longer has a dual nature—its soul and body form one unit. When it is slain, no soul is set loose and the Disciple is sent to the Abyss. Spells that restore souls to their bodies, such as raise dead, reincarnate, and resurrection, don’t work on an outsider. It takes a different magical effect, such as limited wish, wish, miracle, or true resurrection to restore it to life. The Disciple gains the Halffiend template however without the listed spell like abilities and natural attacks normally gained.
