The Hexblade is identical to the class listed in the Complete Warrior. Hexblades are allowed to use the following special options:
• Dark Companion (PHB2, p.47)
The following special rules hold for hexblades:
• Hexblades cannot use all spells listed in their spell list, specifically being restricted to only Players Handbook spells in their list. For details, see the Psionics and Magic Document.
The Hexblade is a restricted class. Permission from the DM team is necessary to make one or to multi-class into the class.
