The ranger is different to the class listed in the Players Handbook! For the details of the new Ranger class, see the relevant section below. The Planar Ranger and Wild Shaping Ranger variants from Unearthed Arcana are not available. However, Rangers are allowed to use the following special options:
• Distracting Attack (PHB2, p.55)
Note: The ranger special option obviously works on the Dol-Terias version of the ranger.
