Detect Taint (Ex): Through training their mind and spirit, the Witch Hunter can often 'smell' the presence of taint. Witch Hunters can detect the presence of Taint in a 15’ Radius from themselves, regardless of the source; however, they may not pinpoint the source of the Taint, only feel the presence of it in the back of their minds.
Relentless Hunt (Ex): At 1st level, the character gains an insight bonus equal to his Witch Hunter level on Gather Information, Spot, and Sense Motive checks made to determine the whereabouts of an 'Enemy of Anvarol'(see below).
Smite Enemy (Su): The Witch Hunter has gained the favor of Anvarol in order to judge those that would defy his teachings. The Witch Hunter may make a single melee or ranged attack against an 'Enemy of Anvarol' (see above) with a +4 bonus on attack rolls and a bonus on the damage roll equal to his total HD (if the attack hit). You must declare the smite before making the attack. This ability is usable once per day at 2nd level and twice per day at 4th level.
Versatile Strike (Ex): Trained in overcoming both magical and natural defenses of heretics and their minions, a Witch Hunter has mastered using his weapons to bypass such benefits. As a swift action, the Witch hunter can opt for his weapon strikes to deal his choice of bludgeoning, piercing, or slashing damage. Once he makes this choice, his weapon continues to deal the chosen damage type until using another swift action to change it.
Resist Corruption (Ex):Through the exposure of unnatural magics during the hunt for heretics, the Witch Hunter has developed a natural resistance to such forces. The Witch Hunter has developed Spell Resistance (10+Character Level) against spells and abilities of 'Enemies of Anvarol'.
Mettle (Ex): A Witch Hunter can resist magical and unusual attacks with great willpower and fortitude. If he makes a successful Will or Fortitude save against an attack that normally would have a lesser effect on a successful save (such as any spell with a saving throw entry of Will half or Fortitude partial), he instead completely negates the effect. An unconscious or sleeping character does not gain the benefit of Mettle.
Finish the Hunt (Ex):An experienced Witch Hunter knows when his enemies are most vulnerable and how to best take advantage of their distraction. At 5th level, a Witch Hunter who readies an attack to disrupt a spellcaster or spell-like ability deals double damage if the attack hits. In addition, any spellcaster you threaten in melee provokes an attack of opportunity if he or she tries to cast defensively.
Enemies of Anvarol
Members of faiths directly opposed to Anvarol, Mutants, Tainted, Shapechangers and Arcane Spellcasters.
Special: These bonus abilities and additional effects of other Witch Hunter abilities may only be used against enemies that the Witch Hunter is certain fits the criteria. The bonuses and abilities are not functional if the character has no in game knowledge of the targets affiliations, or if the target is a very hushed Arcane caster, unless the character has witnessed them casting spells and has succeeded on a proper spellcraft check to determine the spells are arcane in nature
