TS - St. Alevar`s Academy: Located on the docks of Terias, Saint Alever`s Academy for the Wayward is a free school dedicated to the learning of all youth. This converted warehouse is surrounded by a ten-foot-high stone wall with iron gates that are left open during the daytime. In the center of the courtyard is a large oak tree, beautiful flower beds encircling it.
Despite the academy being large, this warehouse complex has a very rustic, homey feel. To the west of the property is a small storage house, well, garden plot and a stables large enough to house the horses of those residing within and visiting adventurers. To east is the forge, attached to the Academy and the academy itself. There are two wings to Saint Alevar's ;the North Wing and the West Wing.
1st Floor
North Wing
Training Room
The Entry to the North Wing is ground floor, double doors that extend outward to show the training room - a large room dedicated to training children in swordsmanship and archery, including an infirmary located to the left of the room, as well as a door leading into the forge and a staircase leading to the upper levels. The Training Room is very simplistic and spacious in design - stucco walls and sand-covered stone floors From Training Room one can gain entry to the second floor, the Forge, and the corridor leading to the Kitchens and Dining Hall.
Kitchens
The kitchens, of course feed the Academy's residents. It's a large kitchen, including stove tops and a large cooking hearth. Within, one can also access the pantry - a simple storage area for dried goods, drinks and supplies.
Commons and Dining Hall
From the same corridor that extends from the Training Room, one can access the Dining Hall and Commons - a large area that can seat up to fifty children comfortably at once on the long wood tables, and extends into the West Wing. The Commons including a comfortable sitting area and a hearth. From the door in the Commons, one can access the offices of Saint Alevar's.
West Wing
Offices
The door from either the courtyard or the Commons brings one to the Offices of Abraham d`Cruxis and Aracia Treyson. Here, Adventurers can view the inquiry boards for jobs, sign up for volunteer services, and talk with the headmaster and headmistress, and gain approval for the jobs available through the Academy. There are benches along the perimeter of the room. Here, the walls are made of clay tiles - tiles that have been painted by children, listing their names and after they have 'graduated' from Saint Alevar's, the job they have found.
2nd Floor
North Wing
The North Wing holds several different rooms, a corrider that extends through the Northwing and opens out into the West Wing Commons.
Classroom
This is a large workspace that is dedicated to teach children various things - from letters and numbers to skilled trade. Several workbenches line the walls, to teach children in different things - everything from alchemy, sewing, leather-working, et cetera. The opposite holds a small library, and the west wall offers black slate boards to write upon with chalk. Tables are in the center of the room, sitting up to eight to ten children comfortably.
Sharps Barracks
These are barracks for the Elven Sharps - where they will sleep and stay. Two separate room - one for men and the other for women.
Boys' Dormitories
The dormitory only has beds in it, with footlockers kept beneath the bed for clothes and personal items. It can sleep up to forty children comfortably. An open door offers the boys a washroom with walls sectioning the area for privacy.
Girls' Dormitories
Same as the boys' dormitory, the girls' can sleep up to forty children comfortably within the beds, storage being kept in trunks beneath. Also has a simply washroom.
West Wing
Master Bedrooms
The school has four master bedrooms, dedicated the headmasters and headmistress of the academy. Double beds, vanities, dressers, desks, large beds. Two room have a private washroom.
Guest Rooms
The guest rooms are pleasant and accommodating, though not luxurious, they are comfortable, spacious, and offer view of the courtyard below.
Sharps Outpost
A simple office/private meeting area for the Elven Sharps to work on their projects.
Commons
The Commons offer a few tables to study at, as well as a hearth, comfortable chairs and a washroom, with a few of the River Don.
Rooftop
The Rooftop provides another storage room, mews for birds, floorbeds, the cisterns for the Academy's water, and a small sitting area.
