Specialized Sneak Attack [General]
You have trained extensively in the art of sneak attacks with a particular weapon. Choose one weapon type such as piercing, slashing or bludgeoning. With that weapon type, your sneak attacks become more devastating.
Prerequisite: Sneak Attack +3D6, Hide +8, Move Silently +8.
Benefit: Bludgeoning weapons give the bonus of causing the opponent to become dazed for 1 round. Slashing weapons cause the opponent to become hamstringed reducing their movement speed by half for 3 rounds. Piercing weapons cause the opponent to bleed out taking 1 point of damage each turn until at least 1 point of healing has been received or a successful heal check DC 15 has been made. If you roll a successful critical hit when making a sneak attack, resolve the attack normally but the effects are doubled. For ranged weapons, this feat only applies to attacks with ranges up to 30 feet. This feat can only be used once on a given target per encounter. Once a target has been affected by this ability, it cannot be so affected again by anyone for the rest of the encounter.
Normal: Sneak attack damage is not modified by critical hits and victims do not take any additional effects.
