Sadly since I've been playing here, I've caught, two scenes with my characters, One where the Enemies were so powerful they could have TPK'd the group if rolls weren't lucky, and the other I was basically an NPC my self buying drinks for the other NPC's, and was ignored for the rest of the scene.
The chat has no correlation or gap closing or RP for the little guys right now, no one plays their little chars no one make's an effort to run for them, or properly for that matter, how ever there are several sl's going on right now directed towards the high level pc's, towards the players of the DM team.
Granted I'm not on all the time because I have odd scheduling and a horible swing shift with forced over time, but when i am on, I do see a lot of people on, but the same 4 - 5 PC's locked away doing another adventure, gaining their own power and story lines, it leaves the new people out, granted I am probbaly the only new person here but I feel left out, I can't even get the person who brought me to the chat to play with me.
Ontop of that a lot of the DM's are aggressive when you question a ruling they make, calling you a rules lawyer, its an unwelcoming enviorment when you're looking for a clarificaiton in a scene which can be life or death for your pc, sorry but as a DM yes you make the rules but you're human and not all knowing and can be forgetful, but don't attack some one looking for clarification then threaten them as if they are making a personal slight against you.

I just saw this post while sifting through the forums - and I felt the need to respond to you. Wayne and David tend to run a lot of 'low-level' adventures. I think, perhaps, that the times you are online might be one of the reasons you are not seeing a lot of adventures. I will admit, however, that within the past fews days, we, as a team, have not been running as frequently. I will also admit that I do not run very often, as I am typically working on things for the chat while I'm logged in as either a player or a DM. As a Team, we are currently working together to creature a new storyline - something that every character could be involved with, if they so wish. Also, I have been asking players to write back-stories for their characters, so that we can use them to run with when coming up with adventures. If you FPM me ( Adele ) your PC backgrounds, I award up to 400xp for them. A lot of the reason, I think, that we seem so inactive to you is because we are currently working very hard on modifying rules, content, et cetera. (Keith and I are working on updating the income DB and we have over 350 PCs to review - it is a lot of work). Another comment I will add is that most of us do not open "Adventure Prep" rooms because we try to promote PCs to go IC to engage in scenes, NPCs, and adventures. It's hard to get into a scene or a run a scene when everyone sits OOC. "Ontop of that a lot of the DM's are aggressive when you question a ruling they make, calling you a rules lawyer, its an unwelcoming enviorment when you're looking for a clarificaiton in a scene which can be life or death for your pc, sorry but as a DM yes you make the rules but you're human and not all knowing and can be forgetful, but don't attack some one looking for clarification then threaten them as if they are making a personal slight against you." I offer my sincerest apologies - that you seem to have had such a negative experience on our chat is upsetting - I like to think that we are a fair group of DMs, that we work hard to maintain ordinance in the most polite and respectful manner possible. If you could FPM me the name of this DM, so that we may address this as a team - this is an issue that we must resolve.
