The first round of the joust had some exciting match ups. Sir Durangal Inniviere, a son and knight of his house, soundly beat Sir Tybarius Alturien in the first match while the stable-boy turned squire Ragnok Demirov defeated the mighty Frue Hekili Varaldsen-Gaelan to everyone's surprise. Later Dame Angelica Baptiste, the Griffon Knight of Terias won her tilt against Sir Sir Marrigan Palinor - the Blue Knight - and defeated him.
The most impressive match was between the Scourge of Terias, Sir Vladimir Black and Sir Aeris Inniviere. The first tilt saw a point go and too the Betrayer and while she second pass was uneventful, the third saw that they struck each other. Of course, the Scourge's blow hit harder - the tourney lance broke off and impaled Sir Aeris' should. Still, the heir to the defiantly rose that arm and shouted his house's motto - flies higher than you, indeed.
This did little to sooth the Scourge's anger, however, which he took out on one of the Innivere's man-at-arms - an act that almost sparked war. In the end however, the necromancer Skarre Dragomir was able to pacify the man somehow and after some debate he was lead to the Doltanbran guardhouse in chains... Yet there were still whispers of war...

*Some say lord Zlatko has already left the city later that night. Escorted by four soldiers of the Fist of Moores and thirty men-at-arms he was seen leaving the Moores grand house in Doltanbran and galloping toward its province, abandoning the Scourge to his faith. Many worry that messengers have already been dispatched to the Moores fortress, The Thorgar, ordering the assembly of an army from the entire province. The drums of war are rolling. Will the first blood spilled in the upcoming war be the one of the abomination once known as sir Vladimir Black?*

*When Dawn breaks Sir Leander is seen leaving the Moore's Grand House with his wife and the house arcanist. Both women carry their babies into the private carriage that Lady Lexa was given. And as they leave Doltanbran they take the road that leads out towards Rochbad.*

And what of the green-horn Ragnok? Judging from his speech he hailed from the provinces of the Moore. Will they, once more, draft him into their armies or shall he escape across the Don and continue his squireship unmolested by the promise of war? It is known among the fighting men he fought under the Fist in the crusades as a man-in-the-line and survived where so many others perished...
