A.F. Fall. THE BEGINNING. THE DOL-TERIAS CHAT OPENS.
A.F. Winter. The Doltanbran Insurrection. The free folk of Doltanbran gather under the banner of the monk known as Ionao of Zaira and take control of the city in the attempt to feed themselves. The Council loses control of the town: nobles either desperately escape to the countryside or hide within their fortified grandhouses in the Noble District. After a month an army led by Lord Merrabar Inniviere storms the city gates. Two days of fierce struggle culminates with the Council re-establishing its control over the town. With the promise of meeting an emissary of the High Lord of Terias, Ionao is lured and murdered in the Nekra Cemetery by Sir Aeris Inniviere. Those suspected of being Insurrectionists are executed in the Market Square...
A.F. The Eclipse, Flood, and Undead Raise. A veritable holocaust assaults both cities when a torrential rain that lasts for days breaks the levies and floods the countryside and much of both cities. While Doltanbran and Terias struggle to recover, the sun is darkened from the sky by a total eclipse. That night, and for several days after the Undead walk the cities, sporadically preying upon the living...
A.F. Winter. The aged Lady Laera Gaelan passes away due to injuries she sustained during the flooding. Her firstborn, Graegor Gaelan, also know as The Tall, becomes the House Lord.
A.F. A great comet streaked across the sky and followers of the dead God Galathas felt a conduit with the passed deity open and some of their powers restored. The how and why of the act have yet to be explained...
A.F. Spring. The Wotans of the Grey Elk tribe, led by their chieftain Harshnaag the Ravager, invade the province of Dhun, pillaging the land belonging to the bishop Accolon Durienlar. The wotans are ultimately forced back in the north by the arrival of a large army of Eyes of the Vigilant led by Marshal Magnus Noemar, but only after they sack the large town of Ghanaer, taking many people back to the Than steppes, to serve as slaves. Among the fallen was Sir Galadorn Sureblade, a Griffon Knight. The inquisition of Anvarol launches a purge thru the whole province, looking for members of the Brotherhood of the Wolf, the heretical cult that passed vital intelligence for the wotans attack.
A.F. Summer. During the monthly gathering of the Council of Doltanbran, Lord Anton Rugalof revealed himself, reclaiming his place as the head of House Rugalof. The son of the deceased Lord Oleg Rugalof - killed 19 years ago during the Night of Blooded Swords - was granted a fief that stretches south of the Inniviere lands and west of the River Bogen. The province contains the Town of Hachtdorf, where Lord Anton, his men and several mercenaries had recently fought off an attack by the orcs of the Grey Mountains in what has been called The Battle of Hachtdorf.
A.F. Winter. The drums of war sounded as the cities prepared for what would the Fourth Siege of Dol-Terias. However, in a strange twist of fate war was prevented when the Great Winter all but stopped the city. For nearly an entire year, the twin cities were assaulted by near constant snowfall. While supplies dwindled, rising the prices, many people common and nobleborn alike rejoiced both openly and secretly that war was prevented. In the aftermath, some elves came to the city bringing word of a reawakened goddess know only as the Lady of the Frost.
A.F. In response to the failed assassination attempt on his life and the life of his family in what was believed to be an orchestrated attack by the elves of the Quarlen. The result lead to the Elven Repression, leading many of the sylvan people to either leave Terias for the neighboring city or to return to their homeland.
A.F. Many heroes, commanders, and soldiers within the two cities joined together under a common banner when refugees from the Zulan homeland fled to the cities reporting great horrors appearing in their jungle homelands. At the same time, nature began to act erratically; particularly lightning which seemed to strike out against those that served the Conjurer either willingly or unwilling through the Mark.
A.F. Churches and scholarly institutions alike warned that magic might be dangerous to the fabric of reality and that the various metaphysical catastrophes over the years might have been made worse by the improper use of arcane – and even divine – powers. Some took these warnings to hard and only used the primal powers in moments of great need...
A.F. Current Year. Rumors persist about the instability of magic and in dark places of the world it is rumored that reality itself is coming undone. While few are aware of the horrors that dwell in the world's lonely places, even the common man has begun to suspect that something is afoot as agents of the Inquisition were seen meeting with the lords of Doltanbran's council and the ominous red star is now visible to the naked eye.
